This is a blog chronicling the adventures of Luke and Amanda Bradshaw. We met and fell in love in June of 2010 when West Point sent Luke sent to Huntsville, AL (Amanda’s hometown) for a three-week summer internship! We dated long distance for 2.5 years following that–from New York to Alabama, Oklahoma to Alabama, and finally Georgia to Alabama while we both attended and graduated from college and military training (for Luke.) Luke proposed on Amanda’s 22nd birthday. He flew down to Georgia and popped the big question in the Azalea Bowl at Calaway Gardens. Amanda’s response: “Of course!!!”
We had two “weddings”- you can read more about those in the blog post- Marrying the Love of My Life Twice. But, we celebrate our anniversary of September 1, 2013. After our wedding, we spent 4 years traveling around the country with Luke’s career as a military officer. We spent a few years at Fort Benning, GA, 1 year at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and following Luke’s transition to the civilian world, have made our new home in the Sunshine State! This Southern girl is loving a return to warmer weather.
We hope that through this blog, you will get to have a glimpse into Our Story as well as see the Love of Christ shining through us. We hope that our love is a reflection of His each and every day, as God is truly the center and foundation of our relationship.
